SSL SYSTEM No. 2B provides connection for the AES/EBU I/O Card on the Solid State Logic C100/C200 Centuri® Core. System also provides connection for External Tie Lines. (16) of (32) inputs & outputs pairs can be connected to the System.

Up to (32) inputs & outputs can be driven through SSL SYSTEM No. 2B. Also provided are (32) additional Pre-Normalized user inputs and outputs, which allow for standard connections without the need for a single patch cord. The (32) external tie lines can be connected through (2) optional custom designed panels.

(2) Optional custom panels for connecting the "external tie lines" are available:

Tie Lines Panel 1 provides (8) line inputs (XLR Female) and (8) line outputs (XLR Male).
Tie Lines Panel 2 provides (8) line inputs and (8) line outputs (TRS Female).

A custom designed Break-Out Panel (for rear-rack mount) with ELCO/EDAC connectors allows to easily hook up the dedicated Digidesign HD units.

Cable kits are provided in three sizes: 15' (4.5m), 30' (9m) and 45' (13.5m) long. All snakes and connectors are clearly labeled for easy installation.
System includes all cables to hook up the AES/EBU I/O Card plus: (1) snake terminated with (16) Neutrik XLR Male connectors (fx AES/EBU digital inputs 17-32), (1) snake terminated with (16) Neutrik XLR Female connectors (fx AES/EBU digital outputs 17-32), (1) snake terminated with (8) Neutrik XLR Male and (8) Neutrik XLR Female connectors or (1) ELCO/EDAC connector to interface to an optional Tie Lines Panel 1 or Tie Lines Panel 2 (external tie lines 17-24) and (1) snake terminated with (8) Neutrik XLR Male and (8) Neutrik XLR Female connectors or (1) ELCO/EDAC connector to interface to an optional Tie Lines Panel 1 or Tie Lines Panel 2 (external tie lines 25-32), allowing for a total of (64) user analogue and digital inputs & outputs.
